As we are offering an excellent scholarship package, applicants should have excellent qualifications, preferably a First Class undergraduate degree or an MSc with Distinction in an appropriate subject. The minimum requirement is a good 2.1. We will consider work experience and accredited prior learning.
The Manufacturing Technology Engineering Doctoral Centre is funded by the UK Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council so our scholarships are only available in full for UK Home/EU students who meet the 3-year UK residency criteria and fee status.
We have very limited opportunity for international students due to the source funding criteria. Only exceptional international students can be considered (unless self-funded with a sponsorship, from your government, or you have secured an international scholarships at one of the partner universities).
